About the founder
Jim Green, President and owner started in the painting trade working for his father’s company during high school and college. He graduated from apprentice school to journeyman status in 1973.
He started up his own company in 1975 with his wife and oldest son. He took a break from 1984 to 1985 to build their home and enjoy his children. Late 1985 he started his current company Estate Painting and Wallpapering. Company was incorporated in 2001 and by 2005 employed over 180 painters, mostly involved in multi-family, apartments, subdivisions and custom homes.
During the recession of 2008- 2012, we started specializing in custom homes and found a very needy area for qualified and skilled painters. Today multiply million-dollar homes are typical work we enjoy and succeed at. Our referrals are very important Jim has two main foremen with 22 and 19 years with the company. Crew size varies from 12 to over 20 employees depending on the season and economy. We finished 105 home subdivision 2018 – 2019 and 100 townhomes in Sparks and Carson City 2022- 2024 all the while keeping our custom home clients on schedule. Our crews are versatile in both custom homes and multi-family units. We also do small commercials.
